Kwasi Enin applied to all 8 Ivy League schools which I am sure take a lot of effort in and of itself. He hoped to get accepted into at least one of those schools. Well, he got accepted into all 8.
Friends this young man, age 17, embodies the true values and academic leadership that is so needed in the black community. He is going to be an excellent student and future doctor. He will be the leader that he has set out to be. Its hard work, but Kwasi Enin will face that challenge head on because he knows the value of setting himself up for success to create a legacy for his family for future generations. Just imagine if we had hundreds of Kwasi Enins who don’t spend their days in the streets, drooping their pants, and looking for weed to smoke, and getting arrested. Imagine yourself at where ever you are in your life becoming greater than you are today, right now. Its really unfortunate that this should be a surprise in our community where its the norm in the Jewish and Asian communities. Way to go, Kwasi Enin, I know you will do well and serve as a role model for these young black boys.
